Terms
Last updated 18 October 2026
These terms are between you and Juan [surname], trading as Regulars ("we", "us"). By creating an account or booking a season, you agree to them, to our refund policy, our code of conduct and our privacy policy.
What we do
We match adults into small groups who meet in person at public venues in and around Newcastle. We suggest groups, times and venues and send reminders. We don't run the venues and we aren't present at the meets.
Who can join
- You must be 18 or over and pass our ID check.
- One account per person, using your real first name and a recent photo of yourself.
Bookings and payment
- The questionnaire is free. A season costs the price shown when you book, paid in advance by card through Stripe.
- The price covers matching and organising your group. Food, drinks and any activity costs at venues are paid by you.
- Because each season is for specific dates, the usual 14-day cancellation period for online purchases doesn't apply. Our refund policy gives you more generous rights instead.
Meeting people safely
- ID checks reduce risk but can't remove it. Meet only at the venue, plan your own way home, and trust your instincts.
- You're responsible for your own behaviour and choices, including how much you drink.
- Report anything that worries you. We may remove anyone from a group or ban them, at our discretion, to keep members safe.
- If you report someone for making you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, you can leave the group at any stage and we'll offer you a free place in a new group. You'll never be matched with that person again.
Our responsibility
We do our best to make good matches, but we can't promise you'll make friends or that every meet will happen as planned (for example if a venue closes). We're not responsible for what other members do, or for venues. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Otherwise our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the last 12 months.
Ending your account
You can stop using Regulars at any time and ask us to delete your account. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the code of conduct.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
